In the history of the nation, many people have achieved great feats. Some of them are destined to be remembered by the masses, while others disappear behind the veil of time. But destiny is such that people want to recall their memory, want to know their history, their achievements. One such great personality, the son of Raigad district, a revolutionary thinker who went against the tide of time - the seer ascetic was Vishnubuva Brahmachari.

 

On 4th July 2019, a lecture was delivered by Shri. Sudhir Karandikar, Social worker, Pune. Earlier the speakers and other guests visited the padukas of Shri Dattaguru established by Vishnubuva. Although It was raining heavily, the villagers had gathered enthusiastically. In his speech, Mr. Karandikar talked about Vishnubuva's character, his forward-looking thoughts, and important events in his life. In the future, the village Shirvali would become famous as a place of pilgrimage, thus the village and the surrounding area will develop, and people will get employment, he said.
